Description: Schleicher ASW 20 (15m pure wing, no extensions), manufactured in 1982, Serial Number (SN): 20576.
Very clean glider, crystal-clear history, zero investment needed. Perfect for a demanding private pilot or Club Class racing. Fully airworthy and ready for the season. Located and visible at Montaigu airfield (LFFW), Vendée, Western France
Airframe:Low Airframe Hours: Only 2,911 hours and 50 minutes.
Low Cycles / Launches: Just 622 launches since new (outstanding ratio of 4.7 hours per flight, proving exclusive cross-country use and a very healthy airframe).
The canopy has no cracks.
Major Inspection Done: The critical 3,000 hour major structural inspection has been completed by the workshop early and is already signed off.
Finish: Fully repainted in 2021 by aerotechnics.
The registration markings are applied as stickers, making modifications easier. If you don’t like the green paint on the wings, you can put red stickers on it 😜
Cosmetics: The underside of the fuselage shows some minor scraping/scratches on the paint, but the structure is perfectly sound.
Please note: The glider's wheel brake is currently not very effective; an adjustment or service of the braking system will be required.
