Price: £79,999. Price reduction available by
removal of equipment.
The glider is available this fall. ARC valid until
March 18, 2027. Last weighed March 2024.
Owned since 2023, only flown privately. No
accidents. 3 previous owners (inc Steve Jones,
Leigh
Wells). Upgraded to the 2ax winglets and tailplane,
great upgrades. Reluctantly selling as upgrading
to 15/18m turbo.
Finished in buffing varnish, bulletproof. Great
condition all around. Canopy has no cracks, and the
DV
panel has a "quiet vent" fitted. Glider always
stored in hanger in winter and panel and straps
removed. Airbrake horns and both aileron and
airbrake bellcranks fully replaced in 2024 (most
refurbed the existing ones for the AD, I decided on
brand new parts).
Panel
Panel cut and painted in 2024, coaming repainted,
both in Nextel. Full rewire with quick disconnect
connections so panel is easy to remove in winter.
Winter 57mm ASI
AIR ACD57 with Air radio, VT01 transponder and
altimeter activated
LX9070 with WiFi, HAWK and AHRS (hardware has
the touchscreen, just not activated) plus LX stick
remote, radio bridge, flarm connection
Analog inputs for automatic water dumping and
CoG calculations to the LX9070, Airbrake and gear
voice warnings connected directly to the LX (no
annoying buzzer alarms)
PowerMouse IGC FLARM with dual antennas, 2x
FLARM boosters and top-spec antennas including a
belly-mounted rear antenna. 20km+ range,
optimised for receiving rather than transmitting
Sotecc canopy flasher with connect box (FLARM,
WiFi) and additional belly strobe flasher. The most
visible glider in the sky (when you want to be
seen)
Equipment
Hohloch electric bug wipers, one-touch operation,
never had an issue (better than Laminar Aerotec
IMO). BWS bug wipers also included
Custom-made Carbon-Aero TE probe
Carbon Aero wing wheels (plus spares)
3x batteries on a 3-switch and diode setup, the
best electrical system I've ever had in a glider:

Brand new 2024 fully aerobatic Schroth straps,
never used (still have the current on condition
Schroth straps fitted right now)

Trailer and ground kit
Cobra fibreglass shell top.
Trailer recently fully serviced: new tyres, brakes
and hitch (full ALKO with friction pads), Internal
LED lighting wired to run off battery or car, with an
external LED spot light for night derigs, has
Cobra underneath storage tray. Tows amazingly!
IMI wing stands (nothing beats them)
2x super fast water pumps with batteries and 6x
barrels
Heavy duty tow-out gear plus a small low -profile
wing wheel: allows water filling while fitted, stops
the wing switching in the wind like others do,
takes up hardly any storage and fits perfectly
2-year-old Vertigo covers with full hail protection,
designed so the tanks can be filled with the
covers on and with easy access to the cockpit
A host of other ancillary spares available on
negotiation. Overall this glider has had nearly
£15,000
in upgrades in the last 3 years, making it one of
the best V2a(x) in the world!
