Description
Im verkauf steht ein gut gepflegter und gebrauchter Janus C.
Dieser Janus C ist in 1982 neu in den USA verkauft und hat noch mit John Denver an bord geflogen. Wir haben dieser Janus in 1986 aus den US importiert und fliegen ihn bis heute mit viel vergnugen.
Alle TMs sinds durchgeführt.
In 1995/2000 ist die Janus neulackiert mit Lesonal Schwabbellack, heute ist der lackzustand 6/10 (Flügel 1995 / Rumpf 2000)
Cockpit ist mit Nextel neulackiert vor 4 jahren und hinten ist ein "DuoDiscus Design" IP montiert.
Wir haben die Bremsklappenwirkung durch doppelstockigen klappen etwas vergrossert, so dass dieser Janus auch einfach zu landen ist auf kleineren Pisten.

We, the Delft Students Aeroclub (DSA), are selling our beloved Janus C.
This Janus is originally sold to the USA and, according to the sellers, has been piloted by John Denver! We imported the Janus C in 1986 to the Netherlands and have been flying it since. We use it for ab initio pilots and advanced training and, contrary to what a lot of sailplane pilots believe, the Janus does that very well. At least beginner pilots have to learn how a good flare is made!
We have - approved by Schempp-Hirth - increased the airbrake efficiency by adding an extra airbrak "plate" and it is now landeable at small grass strips.
It has a few flight hours, but it still flies very good!
Both Tost couplings (Nosehook and CG hook) are installed.
All TMs have been performed.
