Description
MarS backparachute ATL-88/90-1 with metal ripcord handle and (most sold) B12 buckles on chest and legstraps (also called "Long Snaps" or "Simple Buckles").
Compact and comfortable emergency parachute, used by many gliderpilots due to its good value for money ratio.
Provided with removable and washable backpad (prevents moisture and sweat entering the canopy).
Manufactured in April 2012. The parachute was packed in March 2026, so it is ready for use throughout 2026!
The manual lists a lifetime of 15 to 20 years. The method for extending the lifetime has been updated by SERVICE BULLETIN No. M ATL – 01 – 14; the lifetime can now be extended each year up to 20 years by an authorized person performing the parachute
